Kofuku in Full Regaliaby *Arleen

This is Kofuku, in full regalia and shining.

It is made with silk gauze. The white one was so thin that is was very hard to starch, the red one comes from the remains of a very old juban.

I've made it to match a red yukata and is is my absolutely favourite ever!

It is very light, but it survived through a whole day of wearing on a convention without even a scratch.

*** EDIT ***

The funny this is, it survived the whole convention, made it through a 14h journey there and back, just to be squashed by a bottle of starch I accidentally knocked over, while putting this piece away into its box...

I managed to rearrange it of course with a little help from my tweezers and some glue to fix the golden centres but still... Quite an irony, nah?
