Hi! This seems like a good beginning tutorial! I haven't tried dying any fabric yet but will have to soon, so I'm excited to see how it turns out!
You've asked for some beta proofreading, so I hope you don't mind me pointing out some spelling mistakes and suggestions!
In the opening summary, one of the last lines should probably read: "Have fun and always remember to wear protective gear like goggles and gloves."
Underneath the you will need list, "sufficient"
Maybe add pot, chopsticks/spoon, and tablespoon measure to the you will need list?
In step 2, do you mean to say "Add 2 tablespoons of salt"? Under that, it should say "silks come out."
In step 3: "though" and "spoonful"
In step 4: "damp"
In step 5: "otherwise"
In step 6: "more or less the shade you want it, ... "
In step 7: "Remember" and "necessary"
And at the end: "redistributed"
Also, just a thought: I like the different font you used, but it can be a little hard to read so much of it. Maybe use it for the title and headings (like "Step 1," "Step 2," etc) and something a little more standard for the directions? That way it'll pop even more! I like your pictures though; it really helps to see what you're doing!
Again, nice tutorial! I'm sure a version 2 if you choose to make it will be great as well~ I love your bamboo kanzashi by the way. I've never seen something like that before! I'm not sure if I'd have that kind of patience, but my mom has made me really pretty kanzashi flowers before
